Cornell University

  • Neurodivergent Student Support Program Manager
    Develop and manage programs and other offerings for neurodivergent students; provide 1:1 and group study strategies consults tailored to students’ needs; promote acceptance and inclusion campus-wide.
  • Lecturer
    Teach courses that aim to enhance the metacognitive skills of students to allow them to evaluate, through self-reflection, their study strategies and academic goals to improve as learners. Designed syllabus, developed lectures and assessment methods
  • Internal Transfer and Concurrent Degrees Advisor
    Advisor for students looking to transfer internally (from one college to another within Cornell) or pursue a concurrent degree (two distinct majors offered by two different colleges, also within Cornell).
  • Postdoctoral Associate
    Research focused on fertilization events. Train, supervise and mentor pre-health undergraduate students and visiting scholars. Plan, develop, optimize and perform innovative, multidisciplinary NIH/USDA-funded research.

  • Professor-Researcher (tenured)
    Taught animal reproduction-related courses at the BS, MS and PhD levels – designed syllabus, developed lectures and assessments methods. Supervised two MS theses, Academic and career advisor for animal science majors. Successfully applied for four extramural grants funded by Mexican and German institutions.

University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover, Foundation

  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Veterinary Research and Animal Biology.
    Concentration: Animal Reproduction
    Thesis: Studies on the interaction of chromatin-unstable boar sperm with the female reproductive tract. Thesis awarded the annual Joachim und Irene Hahn Young Researchers’ Award.

    Thesis: Assessing the in vivo fertilizing capacity of liquid preserved semen according to the Hannover Gilt Model

  • Stephen H. Weiss Provost’s Teaching Award
    The Weiss Teaching Award honors faculty with a sustained record of commitment and excellence in the teaching and mentoring of students, and is the highest academic honor at Cornell. Awardees are permanently designated as Weiss Teaching Fellows.
  • Appreciation Award
    The Appreciation Award from the Employee Assembly is granted once a year and is very competitive. This is the first time this award has been given to a grassroots organization, Neurodiversity @ Cornell, which I founded.
  • Edward A. Bouchet Graduate Honor Society Fellow
    The Edward Alexander Bouchet Graduate Honor Society recognizes outstanding scholarly achievement and promotes excellence in doctoral education and the professoriate.
